Your label in a community

A little context next to your name

In a community, a short label can sit next to your name on your posts and in members lists. It helps people know who they're talking to.

Two kinds of labels

• Labels you pick describe where you are, like Student, Graduate, or Working coach. Pick up to three, or change them any time, under Your labels in this community in a space's sidebar (on a phone, the About tab).

• Labels that carry a role, like Trainer or Staff, are never self-picked. They're given by the people who run the community, so you can trust that someone labeled Trainer really is one.

One set per community

Your labels belong to that community. You might be a Student in your school's community and a Working coach in the Hubabble community, and both are true.

Labels never show your email address. Nobody in a community sees your email.
